Today, November 17th, the highly anticipated Conan episode where Conan O’Brien travels to Armenia with his assistant, Sona Movsesian, airs tonight on TBS at 11:00 PM.

O’Brien arrived in Armenia on Sunday, October 11th and wasted no time immersing himself in the Armenian culture. An earlier preview of the episode shows O’Brien dancing alongside Armenian dancers dressed in traditional clothing, speaking Armenian to local venders, and smoking hookah with Movsesian. In the latest trailer, we see O’Brien visiting the countryside, practicing his sheep herding skills, participating in a local soap opera, and attending a race car event, among other experiences.

This episode is expected to be hilarious but also emotionally engaging. O’Brien and Movsesian visit Tsitsernakaberd, the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex. There, Movsesian begins to speak about her family’s village, their escape from the Armenian Genocide, and a voice recording of her grandfather detailing his survival.

This is their first time visiting Armenia, but Movsesian says she plans on returning with friends and family, and invited O’Brien to join as well.
