Assembly's NYC "Sip & Shop" Social, Featuring Armenian-owned Small Businesses, Set for December 18


New York City - The Armenian Assembly of America's "Sip & Shop" social event featuring Armenian-owned small businesses will take place on Saturday, December 18, 2021, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at The Gem Saloon, located at 375 Third Avenue (at 27th St.) in New York City, in a private reserved space. Please note the venue checks for vaccination cards and admission is complimentary, though registration is encouraged to reserve a spot.

Socialize and shop with friends during the holiday season while learning more about Armenian-owned small businesses, including Aram Spendjian, Founder of Made in Armenia Fashion, Alex and Talar Sarafian, Founders of Aran Wines, Sabine Arslanian, Founder of Pabooj, Anna Doghramdjian Bruno, Founder of Thrive for Armenia, Raele Sabounjian Altano, Founder of Well With Raele, Jack Jamgotchian, Founder of Rugged Jack's Hot Sauce, and Levon Baghramyan, Founder of Baghramyan Bakery.


"What better way to build community than to support innovative and inspiring Armenian-owned small businesses, especially during the holiday season," said Assembly Director of Communications Taleen Babayan. "Each founder conveys that strong Armenian entrepreneurial spirit that highlight elements of our Armenian culture, identity, and community. We look forward to socializing, networking, and shopping in a safe and controlled environment, while promoting the creative endeavors of Armenian American small business owners."
