Spain’s Málaga Recognizes Armenian Genocide

(Armenian news-News.am) – The Málaga city council of Spain has unanimously adopted a statement, formally recognizing and condemning the Armenian Genocide.

The statement describes what occurred at the turn of the 20th century defined as a crime against humanity, resulting in the formation of the large Armenian diaspora, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian news-News.am.

In addition, the Málaga city council expressed its support to Armenians worldwide, and noted that the Málaga city hall will soon install, at the Málaga central park, an Armenian cross-stone devoted to the Armenian Genocide victims.
