The Advocacy Summit Scholarship provides an opportunity for Armenian American college students to travel to DC for our annual Advocacy Summit. To learn more about our last Summit, click here.
Requirements to apply for the 2026 Advocacy Summit Scholarship:
• Available to attend all days of the Summit, April 14th - 15th
• Currently attending an accredited college/university
• Must be eligible to vote in the United States (18+)
Attach and send the following materials:
• Contact and Education Information
• One Paged Essay (500 words)
• One Letter of Recommendation (please have sent via direct email at bettinasar@aaainc.org)
• Current Official or Unofficial Transcript
Upon receipt of your application, the Assembly will thoroughly review your materials and notify you of its decision. We accept students on a rolling admissions basis, with a final application deadline on March 2nd.
MATERIALS
ESSAY:
In ~500 words, explain why you should be selected as a scholarship recipient to attend the Advocacy Summit in Washington, DC. Detail your passion for pro-Armenian advocacy and how this Summit aligns with your goals and aspirations. You must answer the questions:
• Why are you interested in attending the Advocacy Summit in Washington, DC?
• Describe any previous involvement or experience you have had with pro-Armenian advocacy.
• How do you plan to contribute to pro-Armenian advocacy efforts in the future?
LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION:
Please provide a letter of recommendation from a professor, advisor, Armenian community leader, or employer who can attest to your academic achievements, communication skills, and dedication to pro-Armenian issues. Avoid seeking recommendations from friends or relatives to ensure impartiality. Your recommender can email the letter directly to bettinasar@aaainc.org.
